The One Crowne Plaza



Of late, the second district of Pampanga with Guagua in the center (please see town location plan) has been receiving unprecedented attention from Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. In the offing are numerous projects that will eventually allow Guagua to regain part if not all of its lost glory as a center of trade in the Province of Pampanga.

It was part of the total vision that we banked on in developing the One Crowne Plaza, a posh modern and first of its kind three storey mall type commercial structure that is socially inclined and community oriented in the heart of the commercial business district of Guagua. It houses a scenic elevator and is also home to a fairly large private collection of Swarovski Silver Crystal that is on exhibit for free public appreciation.

We are excited by the economic opportunities that are about to emerge considering that the town of Guagua, is home to a population of over 110,000 with high disposable income due to the support of a large number of family members who are overseas workers or residents. It sits amidst eight (8) other towns with which it has direct land transportation link to six (6) that has a combined population of over 500,000. The town center is home to a number of schools with a combined student population of over 10,000, a good number of which are high school and college students from the neighboring towns.

We foresee Guagua serving as the urban hub of the second district of Pampanga thus becoming the population center as well as a center of learning and commerce, with the eight towns immediately surrounding it providing all the goods and services it could ever need. More so, if and when a connection to the Bay City in the National Capital Region (please see image entitled “Where The Future Lies!”) via the Pampanga River materializes.
